    Legislative Update with Question/Answer Period
    Tim Keigher, Keigher & Associates. LLC - Presenter
    Tim Keigher grew up in Manteno, Illinois, a small town located 52 miles straight south of downtown Chicago. During his youth, Manteno was a town of 2,200 and has grown to just shy of 10,000 today. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Distribution and a minor in Business from Western Michigan University, and upon graduation he started his career in the association and government relations industries.

    Prior to becoming the Executive Director of the Nebraska Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association (NPCA) on March 1, 2000, Tim held the position of Member Relations with the Illinois Petroleum Marketers and Illinois Association of Convenience Stores for 12 years. In this capacity he also became exposed to the legislative process assisting the association’s in-house lobbyist with membership advocacy. In 2005, Tim took on additional lobbying activities, working with Rasmussen Legislative Consultants, Inc, NPCA’s contract lobbying firm. In January 2006, he formed Keigher & Associates, LLC, a firm engaging in legislative consulting and association management.
