Nebraska Auctioneers Association & Auxiliary Scholarships
Three scholarships (1 - $1000, 2 - $500) will be awarded at the State Convention held June 8-10 2012, Kearney, Nebraska. The Scholarship program benefits members by assisting their children and/or grandchildren as they pursue higher education.
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Applicant must be a child or grandchild of an auctioneer that is a dues paid member of the Nebraska Auctioneers Association.
- Applicant's parent(s) and/or grandparent(s) must have attended the Nebraska Auctioneer Association's annual convention at least 2 out of the last 5 years.
- Applicants applying must be graduating from an accredited high school and have been accepted into a qualified college, university, or a school of technology or have completed the past year at a qualified college, university or school of technology (undergraduate).
- Applicants may apply more than once, but can only be awarded a scholarship one time.
- Before the scholarship money is awarded, the winner of the scholarship must successfully complete one (1) quarter/semester of higher education. A check for the full amount will be made out to the scholarship winner and the school that they are attending.

- Completed scholarship packets must be returned and POST MARKED BY April 15, 2012. Winners will be notified by May 8, 2012.
- Winners will be announced to the association at the annual convention banquet, June 9, 2012 in Kearney, Nebraska at the Holiday Inn Conference Center.
