Hello Everyone!!
In June of 2009, the widows of the fallen fire fighters issued a challenge to
each fire department to raise money to help build the Nebraska Fire and Rescue
Memorial. The Alda Fire Department has answered that challenge.
There will be a Celebrity Charity Auction in Grand Island, Nebraska on April 10,
2010 at 4:00 PM to raise funds to help build the Nebraska Fire and Rescue
Memorial. Over 500 celebrities have been contacted and they have donated some
pretty awesome items to be auctioned.
Charlie Daniels gave a fiddle.
Troy Aikman gave a football.
Nick Light of Red Light Management gave 4 tickets to any concert in the US.
Bo Pelini and Tom Osborne gave a football.
A Generous Donator gave a print of the 300th sellout game signed by Osborne.
Sammy Hagar gave a velvet concert book and CD.
Orange County Choppers gave a picture of the NYC 9/11 copper and T-shirt.
